Man Arrested on Outstanding Warrant CK16001704
On September 30, 2015 the man was released from custody for the offences of theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000.
On November 3, 2015 the man failed to attend court and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Yesterday afternoon, police located the man and he was arrested on the outstanding warrant.
The 23-year-old Wallaceburg man has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Man Charged with Failing to Comply CK16001204
On January 5, 2016 the man was released from custody with several conditions. One of those conditions stated that he was not to contact or communicate directly or indirectly with a specific Chatham woman.
On January 8, 2016 the man indirectly communicated with the woman as he sent her friend a Facebook message asking her to pass on a message.
Yesterday morning, the 27-year-old Tilbury man was arrested and charged with failing to comply. He was released pending a future court date of January 28, 2016.
Mischief in Wallaceburg RM16000228
Sometime late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning, unknown suspect(s) smashed a window out of a vehicle parked on Walnut Street. The damage was estimated at $200.

Motor Vehicle Collisions
CK16001714 – Shortly after 3:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon, police responded to two vehicle collision on Victoria Road between Main Street and Reeders Line. No one was injured. Total damage was estimated at $20,000. The collision remains under investigation.
CK16001716 – Around 3:45 p.m. yesterday afternoon, police responded to a two vehicle collision on Keil Drive South near Richmond Street in Chatham. No one was injured. Total damage was estimated at $10,000. A 25-year-old Ridgetown woman was charged with making a turn not in safety.
CK16001755 – At 6:00 a.m. this morning, police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Lyon Avenue between St. Clair Street and Prospect Street in Tilbury. The driver and only occupant in the vehicle sustained minor injuries. Total damage was estimated at $10,000. The 43-year-old man was charged with careless driving.
Theft in Wallaceburg CK16001695
Sometime yesterday morning, around 10:00 a.m. unknown suspect(s) stole $800 worth of tools and cell phone accessories from a van parked on King Street.
