Charles JOSEPH – Drunk Driving

(KENORA, ON) Members of the of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Highway Safety Division (HSD-Kenora Unit) have charged a 22 year old man for impaired driving following a report of a possible impaired driver in the Sioux Narrows area.

On Saturday March 21, 2015 shortly after 12:00 noon police received a complaint of a possible impaired driver on Highway 71, north of Sioux Narrows. Police located the vehicle and determined the driver had been consuming alcohol and transported him for further tests. The two passengers in the vehicle were issues Provincial Offence Notices for having open liquor in a motor vehicle under the Liquor Licence Act.

As a result of this investigation, Charles JOSEPH (22 yrs) of Whitefish Bay FNT, has been charged with Driving a Motor Vehicle With More than .80 mg of Alcohol in 100 ml of Blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is to appear in Kenora Court on April 30, 2015 to answer to the charges. He was also issued Provincial Offence Notices for Highway Traffic Act offences.
