On December 5, 2013 at 11:00 am a 32 year old Barrie man was arrested for stealing from the downtown LCBO. He was later released with a January 2014 court date.
On December 6, 2013 at 12:30 am, Barrie Police received a 911 call from security at the Wellington Plaza regarding a male who had just stolen items from a store. He was last seen running in an eastern direction.
Officers located the male a short distance away and recovered the items. Police discovered it was the same male that had been arrested the day before from the LCBO on December 5, 2013.
The suspect was again arrested for theft and transported to the Barrie Police and held for a bail hearing.
