Chad Jesse BANNON – Weapons Charges

(TOWN OF PENETANGUISHENE, ON) – On January 2, 2017 between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to several break and enter incidents on Fox Street in the Town of Penetanguishene, ON.

On January 3, 2017 members of the Southern Georgian Bay Crime Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a male in relation to this incident. Chad Jesse BANNON (age 38) of Penetanguishene, ON has been charged with:

Adult Discharge Firearm with Intent contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

Adult Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Obtained by Crime contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

Adult Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

Adult Possession of Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

Adult Carrying Concealed Weapon contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

Adult Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie on a later date
