BREAK AND ENTER
(Marmora, ON) – Sometime between December 15, 2014 and April 22, 2015 a break and enter occurred to an unoccupied residence on Matthew Street in the Municipality of Marmora and Lake. TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT
(Hwy# 62 Belleville, ON) – On April 29, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. members of Central Hastings O.P.P conducted traffic enforcement on Highway #62 near Bell Boulevard in the City of Belleville. More than 75 vehicles were checked resulting in five charges under the Highway Traffic Act including two Drive With Handheld Communication Device.
Central Hastings O.P.P would like to remind drivers to make a conscious decision to remain focused on the important task of driving. A texting driver is 23 more times likely to crash than a non-texting driver. Sending that one text while driving may seem harmless, but it’s a decision that could alter the course of your life and other lives too.
