(TECUMSEH, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Tecumseh was called regarding a possible impaired driver on November 20, 2015 at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Tecumseh Road near Banwell.
Officers received information from a motorist regarding a red Pontiac that was swerving into oncoming traffic, travelling unusually slow and weaving in and out of traffic.
Thanks to the caller, officers were able to locate the female driving the vehicle in the parking lot at a restaurant on Tecumseh Road.
The female exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested at the scene.
Cathy SOLTES, age 54 of Windsor, was charged with Refuse to Provide Breath Sample and Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle. She will appear in a Windsor court on December 3, 2015 to answer to the charges.
