(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County detachment investigated a motor vehicle collision at an Old Highway 24, Townsend, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, January 14, 2017 at approximately 10:19 p.m., officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision.
Through the course of investigation, it has determined that a motor vehicle was travelling northbound on Old Highway 24 when the driver crossed into the southbound lanes striking two (2) mailboxes and then entered the ditch.
The driver of the vehicle did not sustain any injuries.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 44-year-old Catherine BOWMAN of Norfolk County, Ontario with driving over the legal limit.
She is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charge.
