Casimir STODOLAK – Drunk Driving E-Bike

(MAPLETON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On June 4, 2015 shortly after 9 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complaint about an E-Bike on Highway 6 near Side Road 9, Mapleton Township.

Officers located the E-Bike at approximately 9:23 p.m. and spoke with the male driver who displayed signs of impairment by alcohol. He was arrested and transported to a local OPP Operations Centre for testing. Further investigation revealed that he is prohibited from driving a motor vehicle in Canada.

Casimir STODOLAK age 58 of Wellington North Township has been charged with Impaired Driving, Over 80 and Drive While Disqualified contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on July 17, 2015 to answer to the charges.
