Cash & Tools Stolen From Auto Wrecker Business

(SOUTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers along with members from the Mount Forest Forensic Identification Services (FIS) Unit are investigating a recent break, enter and theft that took place at an auto recycling business located on Ausable Line near Huron Park.

Investigators have determined the thieves entered into the business sometime between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on January 18, 2019. Once inside the shop and office area the thieves located and stole a quantity of cash from the business safe. Also stolen were various hand tools, impact guns and a plasma cutter valued at $2,500.
