(CARDIFF, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit assisted by the Technological Crime Unit and Bancroft OPP Detachment have arrested and charged a Cardiff man following a child pornography investigation.
On December 7th 2016, members of the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, the OPP Technological Crime Unit and the Bancroft OPP Detachment arrested a 28 year old male for possessing and making available child pornography.
John Allen BELBIN, age 28 years, of Cardiff Ontario is charged with two counts of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Making Available Child Pornography.
The accused has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on December 8, 2016 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville.
The investigation is continuing.
