At 8:50pm on the 13th of April 2015 a car collided with a skid steer on Hessen Strasse Road near Moser Young Road in Wellesley Township. A 70 year old Heidelberg man was driving a silver Volvo east bound on Hessen Strasse, crested a hill and collided with a skid steer that was being operated by an 18 year male from Wellesley Township. The skid steer was on the roadway and being used to move hay bales. The 70 year old man was transported to hospital with serious injuries. The 18 year old man was not injured and the skid steer had only minor damage. As a result they have charged the 18 year old man with Improper lights on a farm vehicle, No slow moving vehicle sign and careless driving.
