(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment is investigating a shoplifting incident at an Argyle Street, Caledonia, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Wednesday July 29th, 2015 at approximately 6:30 pm Police were called to the Zehrs Market on Argyle St. after a female shoplifting suspect had fled from the Loss Prevention officer.
Investigation revealed that the Loss Prevention officer observed a suspected shoplifter who when he attempted to detain her as she left the store dropped the merchandise and fled the scene. A check of the merchandise was valued at approximately $400 dollars.
Police are asking for the assistance of the public in attempts to identify the female.
