CAMACHO – 133 in an 80

(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) – On April 4, 2017 at approximately 11:55 p.m., a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on Highway 6 near Laird Road in the City of Guelph. The officer observed a male driving a 2016 Mazda 3 travelling at a speed that appeared to be well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at 133 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.

22-year-old Mitchell CAMACHO of Cambridge has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and will appear in Guelph Provincial Court on May 3, 2017.His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of seven days as per statute.
