(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged a 52 year old female with a drinking and driving offence at a Lock Street, Dunnville, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Sunday July 12th, 2015 at approximately 1:00 pm Police responded to a traffic complaint of a possible impaired driver at a North Shore Drive, Haldimand County, ON address. A description of the suspect vehicle, a green 2006 Chrysler car was obtained and was being followed by a concerned citizen.
The vehicle was eventually located with the assistance of the concerned citizen and was approached at a Lock St address where it had stopped. While the officer was speaking with the driver signs of alcohol consumption was detected which lead to her arrest.
Charged with Driving a Motor Vehicle with over the legal limit of alcohol is 52 year old Constance NEVANS of Haldimand County, ON. She is to appear in Provincial Court, Cayuga, ON at a later date to answer to the charge.
