Bruce STAFFORD – Drunk Driving

(TOWN OF PENETANGUISHENE, ON) – Officers from the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call of a single motor vehicle collision on Saturday November 7, 2015 at approximately 4:10 p.m. on Park Street in Penetanguishene, ON.

When officers arrived at the scene and spoke to the lone male driver and determined that he was under the influence of alcohol. The male driver was arrested and taken to the Southern Georgian Bay OPP detachment for further tests.

As a result of the investigation, the driver identified as Bruce STAFFORD (age 60) form Toronto, ON has been charged with:

– Driving While Ability Impaired contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

– Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

– Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

He was also served a 90 day Automatic Driver’s Licence Suspension and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
