(Oro-Medonte, ON)- On Monday September 23rd 2013 Barrie Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers investigated a theft of tires from a towing compound in Oro-Medonte Twp. The owner reported 4 new tires and several medium duty batteries stolen. 4 BRINKS” tires – size 245/70/19.5 – The batteries were medium duty and for recovery trucks such as a “tilt and load”. The tires were made for BRINKS trucks and have “BRINKS” stamped on the side. The tires also have Kevlar on the side and the value of all 4 is $1800.
