(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On August 30, 2015, at approximately 10:03 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single motor vehicle crash on Dorchester Road, between Byron Avenue and Cashell Lane.
The grey Ford pickup truck had been travelling southbound on Dorchester Road when it veered off the roadway and crashed into a wooded lot area on the west side of the road.
Officers determined that the male driver, who was uninjured, had been drinking alcohol. He was arrested and transported to a Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment for breath testing.
As a result of the police investigation, 32-year-old Brian SEATON, from Dutton-Dunwich, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear, and is scheduled to answer the charges on October 22, 2015, in the London courts.
