(TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH, ON)- The Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to Highway 89 in the Township of Adjala-Tosorontio on Dec 4, 2013 at 12:03am for a business alarm call.
Nottawasaga OPP Officers arrived on scene and began their search of the perimeter of the business, also calling out the OPP K-9 team to assist. Police determined that five businesses in total were involved. When the K-9 team arrived, a suspect track was initiated; the suspect was located near the 30th Side road by the K-9 team and was arrested.
Charged from the Town of New Tecumseth, is 35 year old Brian ROWLEY. He is charged with three counts of Break and Enter, two counts of Attempt Break place-with intent to commit, Mischief under $5000, Possession of Break-in instruments and Fail to comply with a Probation order under the Criminal Code of Canada.
He was held for a bail hearing on Dec 4, 2013. This investigation is still ongoing and as more information is available, it will be released to the media.
