(ESSEX, ON) — The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a threats call on May 27, 2016 at approximately 9:05 p.m. in Essex.
An Essex male was threatened over the phone by another area male. Officers located the accused male nearby the victim’s residence and stopped him driving a grey Dodge.
The male exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested at the scene.
As a result of the threats investigation, officers attended the accused’s residence and seized a shotgun and three pellet guns.
Brian MCLINDEN, age 40 of Kingsville, was charged with the following offences:
Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle
Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content
Utter Threats
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
Careless Storage of a Firearm
He will appear in a Windsor court on June 29, 2016 to answer to the charges.
