Brian James HUNTER – Impaired Driving

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County detachment has charged a 37-year-old male after police were contacted by a concerned motorist about a vehicle at a Norfolk Street South, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at approximately 8:23 p.m., police were contacted by a concerned citizen about a vehicle traveling southbound on Norfolk Street. Officers in the area were conducting patrols and located the vehicle in the White Horse Plaza parking lot.

As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged 37-year-old Brian James HUNTER of Norfolk County, Ontario with impaired driving, driving over the legal limit and drive motor vehicle – no licence.

He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charge.

“There will be zero tolerance for motorists driving aggressively, impaired by drugs or alcohol, distracted drivers or those who fail to buckle up. Driving safety is everyone’s responsibility and it starts before the vehicle is put into drive” comments Constable Ed Sanchuk, Norfolk County OPP.
