(LAMBTON, ON) – On Sunday May 15th, 2016, the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 402 Highway, eastbound, City of Sarnia after receiving a 911 call regarding a serious multi-vehicle, motor vehicle collision.
At approximately 5:00 p.m., Lambton OPP along with Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Sarnia Fire Department were dispatched to a serious, multi-vehicle, motor vehicle collision in the area of 402 Highway, eastbound, and Waterworks Road, City of Sarnia. OPP attended the location and was informed that an eastbound motor vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed collided into the rear of a second eastbound motor vehicle. This caused the second motor vehicle to leave the highway, rollover and finally come to rest on its roof in the water filled ditch. The lone occupant of this vehicle was transported to hospital by EMS with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The suspect motor vehicle after colliding with the second motor vehicle did collide into a third eastbound motor vehicle which sustained only minor damage and no injuries were reported as a result.
The driver of the suspect motor vehicle fled the scene on foot prior to police arrival however was located and arrested a short time later in a field not far from the collision scene. The driver of the motor vehicle has been identified as 56 year old Brian DAVIS of Plympton-Wyoming, Ontario. The accused was arrested and charged with

The accused will appear in the Sarnia Ontario Court of Justice on Monday June 6th, 2016.
