On November 29th, 2013 at approximately 2:30am, Peterborough County OPP were dispatched to a single motor vehicle collision on Woodland Drive in the Township of Selwyn. Officers arrived at the scene and observed a severely damaged motor vehicle but were unable to locate the driver. A search of the immediate area was conducted and the driver was located at a nearby residence.
Charged is: Brian Andrews, age- 25years of Selwyn Township
Section 253(1)(a) Criminal Code of Canada – Impaired Driving”
Section 253(1)(b) Criminal Code of Canada – “Over 80 mgs.”
Section 200(1)(a) Highway Traffic Act – “Fail to Remain”
Mr. Andrews is scheduled to appear at Peterborough Provincial Court on January 9th
