(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Sunday September 26, 2010, around 3:30 a.m. a Perth County OPP officer stopped a vehicle on Line 14 north of St.Marys. The male driver was given a roadside test. The driver failed the test and was arrested. He was transported to the Stratford Police Station where he provided breath samples that resulted in readings of over .80 mgs. on the Intoxilyzer.
Brent Vanheeswyk (22) of Zorra Twp. was charged with exceeding 80 Milligrams of Blood Alcohol Content while operating a motor vehicle and with impaired operation of a motor vehicle. He is to appear in Stratford criminal court on November 1st 2010 to answer to these charges. He was also served a 90 day drivers licence suspension.
