(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On January 1, 2015 at approximately 2:00 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers conducted a R.I.D.E. Programme on Wellington Road 46 and Cockburn Road, Puslinch Township. A female driving a 2007 Saab was spoken with and the officer suspected alcohol was consumed. A road side screening test was administered which resulted in a fail. She was arrested and transported to a local OPP Operations Centre for testing.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days as per statute.
Brenda MOCHRIE age 52 of Centre Wellington Township has been charged with Over 80 Mgs contrary to the Criminal Code. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 23, 2015 to answer to the charge.
