(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On Friday, June 12, 2015 at approximately 9:09 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break-in and theft from the Big Cheese Pizza Restaurant located at 43 Main Street East, Markdale, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
Sometime between 8:20 p.m. on Thursday, June 11th and 9:00 a.m. on Friday, June 12th, unknown person(s) forcibly entered the business. An ACER laptop computer and a Century safe, containing an undisclosed amount of cash, was taken.
Grey County OPP, with the assistance of the Mount Forest Forensic Identification Services Unit, continues to investigate.
Police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information which may assist to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
