(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) -On September 18, 2014, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received two separate calls for break and enters at residences on Walser Street, Elora.
The first call was received just after 4 a.m. The homeowner heard a door chime when the door opened to the main part of the house. A male was confronted at the rear of the home on the deck causing the suspect(s) to flee. Nothing was reported stolen. Foot prints were also found in the garage. It is believed that two people were involved. The homeowner believed that they failed to secure the garage door and the door leading into the house for the night before going to bed.
The description of one suspect is;
Male, 5â€Â11
Muscular
Wearing dark clothing with gloves
Carried a flash light
Possibly wearing a coat with a leprechaun on it similar to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish mascot.
The second break and enter on Walser Street was reported at approximately 8:30 a.m. when items were noticed to be missing. The homeowner believed that they failed to secure the front door allowing the criminal(s) to gain entry.
The stolen items are;
Blackberry Z10 phone
Apple IPAD mini
