(LUCAN BIDDULPH, ON) – On September 21, 2017 at approximately 5:15 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a residential break and enter in progress on Coursey Line, Lucan.
The investigation revealed that the property owner was alerted to the presence of an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) on the property. A nearby resident attended the property to investigate and found a male suspect on the property. An altercation ensued and the male suspect fled on the ATV. Multiple police units attended the area; however the male was not located.
On September 22, 2017 at approximately 5:30 a.m., members of the Middlesex County (OPP) responded to a residential break and enter in progress on Market Street, Lucan.
In this case, a male suspect had gained accessed to a workshop located on the property. A resident of the home entered the workshop and found the male inside. A confrontation ensued and the male suspect fled the area on foot. The property owner sustained minor injuries and did not require medical attention.
Multiple OPP units responded to the area and were able to locate the male nearby. A 19-year-old male has been linked to both events.
As a result of the police investigation, Damian HINSCHBERGER, of London, ON, has been charged with two counts of Assault and two counts of Break and Enter, pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC).
