(COLLINGWOOD, ONTARIO) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating break and enters in the Town of Collingwood and are asking for the public’s assistance in solving these crimes.
The first break and enter took place overnight from the 17th to the 18th of July 2014 at the Orthopedics Sport Institute on Ontario Street. The culprit(s) forcibly gained entry into the premises and stole some cash from the business.
The second break and enter took place overnight from the 18th to the 19th of July 2014 at the Collingwood Barber Shop on Hurontario Street. The culprit(s) forcibly gained entry into the business and stole some cash from that location as well.
The third incident took place overnight from the 18th to the 19th of July 2014 at an insurance office located on Hurontario Street. The culprit(s) forcibly gained entry into the property however did not steal any items from this location.
