Break And Enters

(TOWN OF NEW TECUMSETH) – On the 13th of July 2015, at 04:10 hours, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a Break, Enter and Theft at the Ponderosa Golf Club located on the 9th Line of New Tecumseth. Investigation revealed a window at the rear of the building was found insecure and two cash registers, each containing $200.00, were missing. There was no indication that anything else was missing.

Later that morning at 11:37 hours, OPP received another report of a Break and Enter at the Beeton Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion located on Tecumseth Street, North, in the village of Beeton. This had occurred sometime overnight. Entry was gained through a window on the side of the building. Nothing was reported missing and very little was disturbed inside the premise.

Both break and enters are currently under investigation and police have no suspects at the present time.
