BREAK AND ENTERS

(COLLINGWOOD, ONTARIO) Officers from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are currently investigating break and enters in Collingwood and are asking for the public’s assistance in solving these crimes.

The first reported break and enter took place sometime overnight from the 8th to the 9th of July 2014 where 4 storage trailers were broken into on Sanford Fleming Drive in Collingwood. The culprit(s) made off with a Honda 21 inch push mower.

Another break and enter took place during the same time frame, this one on Raglan Street where a delivery truck was broken into. The culprit(s) made off with a leather sofa sleeper and a Sealy mattress.

In another such incident, a homeowner on Walnut Street reported that her garage was entered sometime overnight from the 7th to the 8th of July however nothing was stolen in that instance.
