Break and Enters

(KENORA, ON) – On Friday, August 16, 2013, approximately 3:30 pm members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended at a residence in the area of Ninth Street North regarding a report of Break and Enter. Investigation determined that sometime between the hours of 11am and 3:30pm unknown suspect(s) gained entry into the residence and stole items including US and Canadian currency and a diamond pendant and matching earrings. Investigation into the incident is continuing.

On Friday, August 16, 2013, approximately 2:30 am members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting foot patrol in the area of the Kenora Harbour Front when they discovered a break and enter in progress. Officers were able to locate two individuals inside a building and arrested them. Investigation lead to a third individual being located and arrested later. 30 year old Jeff COWLEY of Dalles First Nation, 32 year old Tarl LORANGER of Kenora and 29 year old Troy PAYASH of Kenora have been charged with Break and Enter. COWLEY and PAYASH have been remanded in custody at the Kenora Jail with a court date of August 21, 2013 and LORANGER has been released on a recognizance with a court date of September 5, 2013.
