On November 17, 2014 the Waterloo Regional Police attended a number of residences along Bancroft St., Veronica Dr. and Scenic Dr. in the city of Kitchener after numerous break and enter complaints were reported pertaining to residential backyard sheds. Police believe that a lone suspect operated overnight and moved from residence to residence by using both the street and by jumping fences between backyards. Currently, it appears that only residential sheds that were unlocked were entered, and nothing of value appears to have been taken from any of the victims. Waterloo Regional Police are requesting any information from the public that could assist in the investigation, and would remind the public to ensure their homes and property are locked and secured on a regular basis in order to deter similar offences from occurring.
