Break And Enter Suspects Arrested

(MALAHIDE TOWNSHIP, ON) – On September 23rd, 2016 at approximately 12:30p.m. Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on patrol in the area of Culloden Road and Pressey Line. An officer observed a black 2000 Jeep Cherokee with two occupants that were acting suspicious.

Upon further investigating it was determined that the two occupants of the vehicle had committed a break and entre on Pleasant Valley Line in Central Elgin, ON earlier in the day.

As a result of the investigating thus far the driver Warren Brothers age 52 of London Ontario stands charged with:

Break and Enter to a dwelling house contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code

Fail to Comply with Probation Order contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code

Driving while under suspension contrary to section 53(1) of the Highway Traffic Act

Use plate not authorized for vehicle contrary to section 12(1)(d) of the Highway Traffic Act

Operate a motor vehicle without insurance contrary to the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act section 2(1)(a)

The passenger Brittany Boyce age 28 of London Ontario stands charged with:

Break and Enter to a dwelling house contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code

Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code

Possession of a Schedule I Substance contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drug and Substance Act.

Both parties were held in custody as a result of the charges. Both parties were arrested without incident. Property recovered was returned to the homeowners on Pleasant Valley. Further recovered properties were linked back to a break and enter that occurred in Middlesex Centre Township on the 18th of September, 2016.
