Break And Enter Suspects Arrested

(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) On the 18th of October 2016 the accused parties went before London Criminal Court.

Warren Brothers age 52 of London, ON is charged with:

Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 contrary to section 355(b) of the criminal code

Break and enter a dwelling house – commit indictable offence contrary to section 348(1)(b)

Brandon DYCK age 24 of London, ON previously mentioned as the 24 year old from Goderich, ON is charged with:

Flight while pursued by Peace Officer contrary to section 249.1(1) of the criminal code

Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle contrary to section 249(1)(a) of the criminal code

Driving while disqualified contrary to section 259(4) of the criminal code

Fail to stop at scene of an accident contrary to section 252 of the criminal code

Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 contrary to section 355(b) of the criminal code

Break and enter a dwelling house – commit indictable offence contrary to section 348(1)(b)

The property stolen from the residence in Malahide Township was returned to the owner later by Elgin County OPP members.

(MALAHIDE TOWNSHIP, ON) – On the 17th of October, 2016 at approximately 8:40a.m. the Elgin County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a break and entre call in progress in Malahide Township on Yorke Line.

Two suspects entered a residence on Yorke Line and stole an undetermined amount of property. The suspects then fled in a red Ford Escape.

Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police located the red Ford Escape shortly after on Dorchester Rd. The two suspects failed to stop for police and rear ended a vehicle and then fled on foot.

The OPP’s Canine unit was called in to assist with tracking the fleeing suspects. Emergency Response team officers from the OPP also responded to the track of the suspects. Both male parties were arrested after fleeing on foot from police. No injuries were reported to police in regards to this incident.

The OPP’s Forensic Identification unit attend the Yorke Line address to process the scene for evidence.

At this time a 52 year old London Ontario man and a 24 year old Goderich Ontario man are arrest in connection with the break and enter in Malahide Township, possession of stolen property, and driving a stolen vehicle. Both men are being held and will appear in London Criminal court on the 18th of October 2016.
