On April 15th, 2015 at approx. 3:00am a 30yr old male entered a commercial property in Waterloo and was confronted by on site security staff. The male impersonated an employee by giving a false name in an attempt to gain access to a secure area of the business. The male removed property from the premises and was met by Waterloo Regional Police at the front doorway. The male was non compliant with police and resisted arrest, a conducted energy weapon and oleoresin capsicum spray was deployed and the male was arrested without further incident. He has been charged with numerous criminal offences and will be attending a bail hearing later today.
