(TAY TOWNSHIP, ON) – Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call regarding a break and enter on June 5, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. A male from Tay Township reported that his residence had been broken into sometime during this day. Jewellery, tools and electronics were stolen from the residence.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identify a male and a vehicle that were observed on camera footage on this date at 12:30p.m. The newer blue KIA forte with no front plate drove into the driveway and a male suspect got out and walked towards the house. The vehicle was then observed driving out of the driveway and away from the residence.
The male suspect is described as white male, early 20’s, camouflaged jacket (Oakland Raiders crest) left front pocket, dark pants, and work boots. The vehicle is a 2014 Kia Forte four door with no front plate.
