(CALEDON, ON)- On April 14, 2014 at approximately 11:45 am, officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a residential break and enter which occurred on Caledon Mountain Drive.
Investigation revealed that the suspect(s) gained entry into the residence by kicking in the glass inserts of doors on the south side of the residence. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole two jewellery boxes which contained sterling silver cufflinks, bolo tie collar tip set, a Swiss Army watch, a silver Seiko watch, a gold Seiko watch, silver band sapphire ring and tie bars.
Police are reminding residents to contact the OPP Communications Centre immediately at 1-888-310-1122 to report any suspicious activity or suspicious vehicles in the area. Information such as suspect physical descriptions, suspect vehicles and direction of travel are useful tools for investigators.
Police are asking anyone with information about this break and enter to contact Provincial Constable Perreira, Caledon OPP at 905-584-2241 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
