On the 9th of November, 2014 just before 7:30pm, a break and enter occurred at a community centre on Lawrence Avenue, Kitchener. A window was smashed and a donation box, containing an undisclosed amount of money was stolen. Following the break and enter, a window was smashed at a hospice on Lawrence Avenue, Kitchener, however no entry was made. On the 14th of November, 2014 a 24 year old Kitchener male was arrested and charged in relation to the two incidents and held for a show cause hearing. Community members are encouraged to remain vigilant in their neighbourhood for suspicious activity and report any immediately to police.
