On April 14, 2014 at 12:27 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a Starwood Drive residence to investigate an assault complaint. It is alleged that minutes earlier a male that is known to the victim forced his way into the home, assaulted the male resident and then left the home. He was located shortly after by police and arrested.
A 43-year-old Guelph male has been charged with break and enter to commit and assault. He has been held in custody and will appear in bail court on April 14, 2014.
