(PERTH EAST, ON) – Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers & crime scene investigators from the Mount Forest Forensic Identification Services (FIS) Unit are currently investigating a break, enter and theft that took place at single dwelling residence located north of Milverton on Road 131 in Perth East. On October 31, 2014 between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. those responsible entered through an insecure door and entered the residence. Once inside, the thieves made their way into an upstairs bedroom and located two jewellery boxes. The thieves stole numerous pieces of expensive jewellery including:
A Gucci 18 karat gold necklace
Electroform 18 karat white gold earrings with black pearls
White gold Gucci Drop earrings
A 14 karat gold wedding ring with a black pearl pave diamond
A 14 karat white gold wedding ring with a blue sapphire
A Tissot brand men’s watch
Two Seiko brand women’s watches
The value of the stolen jewellery is estimated to be around $31,000.
