On August 18, 2013 at 1:20 pm., the Guelph Police attended to a Watt Street residence to investigate a break and enter. The entry occurred sometime between August 17 at 4:00 p.m. and August 18 at 1:00 p.m. The culprit(s) smashed the glass portion of a locked rear garage door to gain entry. It is estimated that over $30,000 in electronics, musical equipment and cash were stolen.
