Break And Enter

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a Break and Enter at a Norfolk Street South, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at approximately 3:57 a.m., police received a call from a concerned homeowner after they discovered that unknowns made entry into their residence.

Through investigation it was determined that unknowns gained entry into the residence earlier in the evening. Once inside, unknowns removed a television set along with a gaming system and several video games.

The OPP recognize that break and enters continue to remain an all-too common occurrence in Canada, with more than 200,000 reported to police annually of which 6 in 10 are residential. Another 30% are businesses and 10% are other locations such as sheds and detached garages.
