On August 27th, 2014 a 20 year old Innisfil man was charged with Criminal Harassment after he was continually calling and texting his ex-girlfriend . On August 28th, 2014 he was released from bail court on a recognizance not to communicate with his ex-girlfriend, be within 100m of her and not to attend her home or place of work. On August 29th, 2014 the accused attended the restaurant where the victim works. Staff asked him to leave and he complied. On September 1st, 2014 the accused followed the victim to a Tim Horton’s restaurant. The accused watched the victim from both inside and outside the store and never purchased any items. As the victim was leaving, he approached her, giving her a phone cord and asked her not to call police. The victim’s parents later called police. Police located the accused. He was arrested and charged with three counts of Failing to Comply with his Recognizance and held for a bail hearing.
