Details: On November 26, 2015 shortly before 2:00 p.m. a 32 year old Brantford woman attended a grocery store and was observed shoplifting. The accused was observed selecting sandwich meats and a small tray of muffins and conceal these items in her backpack. The woman noticed an employee watching her and the accused was observed removing the sandwich meats from her backpack, however left without paying for the concealed muffins. The woman was stopped by employees and soon after arrested by police. The accused has been charged six times for shoplifting this year. The accused was arrested and charged with Theft under $5,000.00, Possession of Stolen Property under $5,000.00 and Fail to Comply with Recognizance. The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Location: 50 Market Street South – LCBO
Details: On November 26, 2015 at around 8:20 p.m. the accused had attended the LCBO on Market Street and was observed selecting a bottle of Vodka and fleeing the store on his bike. A BPS Officer attended and reviewed video surveillance which captured the suspect on two separate days committing thefts. The Officer recognized the suspect from previous dealings with him. Investigation led the officer to an address where the suspect was and arrested the 17 year old Brantford man at approximately 8:50 p.m. The accused was taken to the station and was held in custody for a bail hearing. The accused continued to be belligerent with officers during the arrest and while at the station when the accused was being processed. While at the station the accused attacked an Officer and with a closed fist struck the officer in the head. The officer did not require medical attention. The accused is charged with Theft under $5,000.00, Breach of Probation under the Youth Criminal Justice Act X4 and Assault Police.

Location: King George Road (200 block)
Details: Sometime overnight on November 25, 2015 a business on King George Road was entered. Entry was gained by cutting a hole in the roof. An undisclosed amount of cash at the business was stolen
