Brandon SHEPPARD – 139 in an 80

(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 31, 2016 at approximately 7:59 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was patrolling Highway 6 near the Fourth Line, Centre Wellington Township and observed a male driving a 2011 Scion northbound at a speed well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar at approximately 139 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.

30-year-old Brandon SHEPPARD of Guelph has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is to appear in Guelph Provincial Court on October 5, 2016. His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
