(WALKERTON, ON) On September 15, 2013 at 6:30 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single vehicle crash on Durham Street East in Walkerton. Officers arrived to find that a hydro pole had been damaged, but a Black pickup truck had left the scene. The driver was identified following an investigation into the crash. 20 year old Brandon MITCHELL of Southgate Township has been charged with Fail to remain and Careless driving. A portion of Walkerton was without power while Westario Power worked to repair the damage caused by the crash.
