(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment arrested a 22 year old male after police investigated a complaint from a Norfolk County resident.
On Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at approximately 9:20 a.m., a concerned resident called police after being contacted by a male that was posing for a modeling company.
Police investigation revealed that photos of the victim were sent to the male in an attempt to secure a modeling opportunity. The male then requested that explicit photos be forwarded at which time the female complainant became suspicious and contacted police.
On Monday, September 9, 2013, the Norfolk County OPP along with the assistance of the Hamilton Police Service, arrested and charged a 22 year old male.
Charged with Extortion, Criminal Harassment and Identity Fraud is 22 year old Brandon James MCEACHERN from Hamilton, Ontario.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
