(EAST ZORRA – TAVISTOCK TOWNSHIP, ON.) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to investigate a report of a missing person from Trout Lake Trailer Park located on George Street in East Zorra – Tavistock Township on Sunday, July 12, 2015. The male was last seen at Trout Lake on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at approximately 12:45 p.m.
Members of the Oxford County OPP, with the assistance of the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), conducted a ground search on Sunday, July 12, 2015 within the Trout Lake Trailer Park with negative results.
The investigation into the missing male continued on Monday, July 13, 2015, with a search of the water and shoreline, with the assistance of the OPP Underwater Search and Rescue Unit.
On Monday, July 13, 2015 at 12:45 p.m., a body was recovered by the OPP Underwater Search and Rescue Unit. The OPP Forensic Identification Unit also attended the scene.
The deceased person has been identified as Cletus JESSO, 51-years-old of Kitchener.
A post mortem is scheduled for July 14, 2015 to determine the exact cause of death.
