(FORT FRANCES, ON) – On the afternoon of March 14, 2015 the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were advised of a body that had been located at a boat launch on McIrvine Road in Fort Frances.
Officers attended the scene and determined that the body of a female had been pulled from the water by a fisherman.
The identity of the female cannot be confirmed at this time. A post mortem will take place in Kenora but has not yet been scheduled. Foul play is not suspected at this time.
