Bobby MORRISON – Motor Vehicle Theft, Drunk Driving

(Fort Frances, ON) On November 4, 2013 shortly after 1:00 am, members of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a report of a stolen vehicle from a Fort Frances Residence.

Shortly after 1:30 am officers observed the vehicle in question being operated on King’s Highway and conducted a traffic stop. An investigation at the scene revealed that the driver is currently wanted for 2 counts of Breach of Probation. As a result of further investigation Bobby MORRISON (26) of the Fort Frances area has also been charged criminally with the following offences:

Theft of Motor Vehicle;
Impaired operation of a motor vehicle;
Operate a motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of blood
Possession of marihuana;

He has also been charged with the following offences under Ontario’s Highway Traffic Act:

Driving while under suspension;
Class G1 Driver – no accompanying driver; and
G1 licence holder blood alcohol content above zero.

MORRISON has been held for bail to answer to these charges in Fort Frances Provincial Court.
